Some users can't reply to a comment

Description

I encountered a strange problem in the website www.liberafolio.org I run. Me, the chief editor and seemingly a couple of other non privileged users can reply to a comment. But some users can't.

Commenting is configured for registered users. Anonymous are not allowed to comment.

I created a new test account and I can reproduce this behaviour.

I can access the reply form and can write my reply to the comment before, but when I click press, nothing happens. No request to the server is sent. When I press again, I get the message, that I already hit the send button.

Can you reproduce this in a clean plone 4.2.3 buildout? if so can you setup a testcase?

I'll ty to make a clean install.

If anonymous discussions is enabled, you can reply to a comment without problems.

I made a testuser. This testuser cannot reply to a comment.

In the personal preferences of testuser I switch editor to TinyMCE and now test user can reply to a comment.

After switching back to site wide preference the error reappears and testuser isn't able to reply.

If reply to a comment only works when the user explicitly uses TinyMCE this should be noted somewhere in the READMES.
